NC State Fair
Description: With more than 150 years of history, the North Caroline State Fair has become an October tradition enjoyed by generations of residents and visitors alike. The fair has a massive midway with rides and games, a vast array of entertainment and exhibits, and m of course, food ranging from barbecue to funnel cakes to fried candy! Admission to enter the fair is FREE for anyone 65 and older. Cost of lunch is on your own.

Reservation Policy: Trip reservations are accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis with payment and completed registration form. Spaces are only reserved when a payment has been received!
Transportation: Charter motor coach or Selma Parks & Recreation Department vans. The type of vehicle will be decided based on enrollment for each trip.
Cancellation Policy: Full or partial refunds will be made only if a replacement can be found, and are subject to non-refundable expenses incurred by the Selma Parks & Recreation Department. If the Selma Parks & Recreation Department cancels a trip, a full refund will be given. Occasionally, unforeseen circumstances or events beyond our control may occur during a trip, resulting in modification of trip itineraries. “No Shows” for trips will NOT receive a refund.
- Trips will run rain or shine. Please bring an umbrella and/or rain coat if necessary.
- Please dress appropriately and wear comfortable shoes. Bring along a sweater or light jacket for theatre trips in case it is cold inside.
- The bus will leave promptly at the departure time stated for each trip.
- Our departure location for all day trips will be at the Selma Train Depot (500 E. Railroad Street | Selma, NC 27576).
