Mission Statement
The mission of the Selma Public Library is to provide modern library resources and services necessary to satisfy the informational needs and pursuits of the community, thus enhancing the quality of life in the community.
Summary of Library Policies: In order that the Selma Public Library may function in a well-organized, pleasant environment that is conducive to both serious study and casual use, we have established guidelines for all patrons and visitors. These guidelines call for courteous and respectful behavior by all persons in the library at all times. Offensive and disruptive behavior is not permitted. You may ask any member of the Library Staff for a complete list of our general behavior policies, our safe child policy, and our general policies and procedures. Any person who violates the established policies of the Selma Public Library may lose certain library privileges and/or be asked to leave the facility.

Books: Three (3) weeks
Audio Books: Three (3) weeks
DVDs: Seven (7) days - NO RENEWALS
