The Selma Town Council encourages its citizens to participate in Town Government by serving on a Town of Selma Advisory Board. The purpose of an Advisory Board is to assist the Town Council in making effective decisions concerning local projects and issues, which will improve the quality of life in our community. Applications are being taken for membership on the Library Board, Cemetery Committee, Recreation Advisory Board, Appearance Committee, and Historic Properties Commission. If you have an interest in being involved in this process and would like to be considered for appointment to a Committee or Board, please call (919) 965-9841 Ext. 1004 for more information or visit our website at www.selma-nc.com and complete a brief application of interest form. Applications are also available at Town Hall and the Selma Public Library. Please return your form to Town Clerk Brenda Thorne, Selma Town Hall at 114 North Raiford Street or email@example.com. Appointments will be considered by the Town Council at its next regularly scheduled meeting.
